512Tech: AMD’s rebound has meant big money for key executives

 

Leaders who stayed with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) during tough times, have ‘gambled and won,’ according to analysts. Alan Jagolinzer, Professor of Financial Accounting at Cambridge Judge Business School, said executives would sell stocks in order to diversify their wealth: “Most people are risk-averse. When too much of an executive’s stock portfolio is made up of shares of the company they work for, many executives will try to unload shares.”
