Business Weekly: Hollywood star hails Camfed’s film premiere

Actress Emma Watson showed her support for Camfed’s campaign to boost women’s education in Africa before the premiere of the documentary film “Pathways”. At the 28 November event Tracey Horn, Executive Director of the Wo+men’s Leadership Centre at Cambridge Judge, said: “The world is talking about the consequences of gender inequity and these consequences are most extreme in developing countries where girls are the first to be failed by the system, left behind, invisible. Camfed’s model was built from the beginning on girls’ education as the catalyst for change.”
