Speechmatics, a startup that provides cloud-based speech recognition services that convert speech to text, has just launched a new real-time virtual appliance aiming to improve automatic speech recognition. The team hopes the new software will help to build “the best speech technology for any application, anywhere, in any language.” Speechmatics are alumni of the Accelerate Cambridge programme run by the Entrepreneurship Centre at the School.
