Cambridge News: £100k grant for start-up that could change the lives of amputees

 

Cambridge Bio-Augmentation Systems (CBAS), a startup that designs bionic solutions for amputees, has received a grant from Innovate UK. The money will be used for a project aiming to automate remote monitoring of lower limb disorders or amputations to improve treatment and rehabilitation in patients with prosthetics. The startup was on the Cambridge Social Ventures programme run by the Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation at the School.
