LawBot, a startup that “translates” legal terms into plain English so regular people can understand the case, preparing to launch in seven countries. The startup was started by law students at the University of Cambridge and originally focused on English criminal law, but the new version will be soon available in the US, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand as well as a Chinese language option. The startup is currently on Cambridge Social Ventures programme at Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation.
