Simon Stockley, Senior Faculty in Management Practice at Cambridge Judge Business School, comments on gender and entrepreneurship: “There are quite a lot of academic studies looking at gender biases in business environments. One of the studies in the US found that venture capitalists prefer to work with men, irrespectively of race and social class.” Simon’s advice to female entrepreneurs: recruit a good team and strong advisory board.
