Harvard Business Review: The business case for providing health insurance to low-income employees

 

A study co-authored by Jaideep Prabhu, Professor of Marketing and Jawaharlal Nehru Professor of Indian Business & Enterprise at Cambridge Judge, investigates solutions that could help low-income individuals escape poverty. The study says that “poor people are more likely to make decisions that favour the short term, even when these decisions involve smaller payoffs than larger payouts they might receive in the future.”
