Oxford Times: Code of conduct ‘will make sure shared bikes are up to scratch’

 

After two more bike share firms have shown an interest in expanding in Oxford, the Council and Oxford University are working on a potential code of conduct that will hopefully bring much higher standard of shared dockless bikes. Cycle.land, a venture that was supported by the Cambridge Social Ventures programme run by the Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation at the School, has welcomed this idea. “I believe that well managed dockless bike sharing could be a welcome addition to the already existing options that will allow residents and visitors to choose the bike that addresses their needs best,” said co-founder Peter Ebsen.
