An interview with Belinda Bell, Director of the Cambridge Social Ventures programme of the Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation. Belinda talks about social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Australia and what are the challenges social ventures are facing globally. “It’s interesting you’re not seeing a growth of social entrepreneurs in the startup space here [in Australia], as in the UK it’s increasingly becoming the sexiest bit of the startup space. All the emergent cutting-edge entrepreneurs in the UK are wanting to make the world a better place, not just develop some widget.”
