The Economist: Interest rates and investment returns

 

Real interest rates, as measured by inflation-linked bonds, are around minus one per cent in big rich economies. A new report co-authored by Professor Elroy Dimson, Chairman of the Newton Centre for Endowment Asset Management at Cambridge Judge Business School, looks at the relationship between real interest rates and future investment returns.
