The Telegraph: Foul-mouthed people are also the most honest, study finds

 

A study co-authored by Dr David Stillwell, University Lecturer in Big Data Analytics & Quantitative Social Science at Cambridge Judge Business School, found that people who swear more are least likely to lie. The study describes how participants were asked to list their favourite swear words in order to gauge how fond they were of turning the air blue. “At least people who swear are telling you what they really think,” said David.
