The House of Commons business, energy and industrial strategy committee has launched an inquiry to look at small businesses and what could be done to help them scale up. Stelios Kavadias, Margaret Thatcher Professor of Enterprise Studies in Innovation & Growth and Director of the Entrepreneurship Centre at Cambridge Judge, said that “the UK needs to find an equivalent of incubators for scale-ups, where they can access the management skill set required.” (print only).
