Toby Norman, co-founder of the startup Simprints, has been named the Schwab Foundation’s 2017 Social Entrepreneur of the Year. Simprints is a social enterprise committed to improving the lives of the poor. Accurately linking people to their digital records is a critical bottleneck in the delivery of mobile services in healthcare, microfinance, and aid distribution. The startup is supported by the Accelerate Cambridge programme run by Cambridge Judge’s Entrepreneurship Centre. Toby Norman is a former PhD student at Cambridge Judge Business School (2011-2015).
