4 Traders: Employees receive feedback better when it’s measured against their past performance rather than their peers

 

A study co-authored by David De Cremer, KPMG Professor of Management Studies at Cambridge Judge Business School, says employees feel an evaluation is more fair if it’s is compared with their past performance rather than comparison with the performance of others. The study examines how comparisons shape fairness perceptions in performance evaluations.
