Bdaily: AI-powered patient monitoring system receives Innovate UK grant

 

Cambridge Bio-Augmentation Systems (CBAS), a startup that has created an integrated medical device that provides the interface between an advanced prosthetic and the body, was awarded a £865k Digital Health Technology Catalyst grant. The company will work with other companies on a project aiming to develop an artificial intelligence platform that analyses physical movements of patients. The startup was previously on the Cambridge Social Ventures programme, run by the Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation.
