The Raspberry Pi Foundation, founded by Cambridge Executive MBA alumnus Eben Upton (EMBA 2009), has partnered with STEM Learning and the British Computer Society – securing £78 million in government funding to “establish a new National Centre for Computing Education and deliver a comprehensive programme of support for computing teachers in primary and secondary schools in England.” Raspberry Pi has also secured practical support and a grant of £1 million from Google to help the Cambridge company create free online courses for teachers.
