Financial Times: Ignorance is sometimes bliss in the startup world


What are the odds to succeed in business if you don’t have any background in it? The Financial Times talks to some entrepreneurs about their experience. Julie Deane, founder of the Cambridge Satchel Company, says it is not easy but can be managed with the right attitude. Ms Deane has started her company in 2008 and now runs “a luxury brand, backed in 2014 with $21 million from Index Ventures.” Ms Deane is a member of Advisory Board at Cambridge Judge Business School.
