Financial Times: UK government in Funding Circle deal to boost SME lending

A report on peer-to-peer lending to small and medium-sized businesses by the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance, Cambridge Judge Business School, is featured in the FT article. According to the CCAF report, peer-to-peer lenders such as Funding Circle “have become an increasingly important source of funds for businesses in recent years, accounting for ten per cent of all lending to SMEs in 2017.” (subs).
