Getting admitted to an MBA class is tough, but to cope with a busy studies schedule can be difficult too. Career and admissions advisers from top business schools give some advice on how to prepare for a busy time ahead. Margaret O’Neill, Head of MBA Admissions and Careers at Cambridge Judge Business School, said every student is different and will do different things before their studies, such as taking time off for holidays or coming early to settle in their family: “Ideally, students would allow themselves enough time to get settled in their accommodation, get to know the city and sort out all the practicalities – including acquiring that essential mode of Cambridge transport – a bicycle!”
