Simprints is among five startups helping to solve the biggest issues globally, according to Forbes. Simprints has developed a biometric fingerprint scanner allowing health care workers in developing regions to access patient records through the touch of a finger. “The lack of identification is one of the biggest factors that reinforce poverty in developing countries,” the article says. “Cambridge-based startup Simprints is setting out to solve this problem.” The startup was previously on the Accelerate Cambridge programme run by the Entrepreneurship Centre at Cambridge Judge.
