FT Adviser: Boost for alternative lending market

A recent report by the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance is featured in the article. The report found that “business funding transacted for startups and small and medium-sized firms in 2016 grew by 50 per cent to £3.3 billion, from £2.2 billion in 2015.” The report estimated that around 33,000 UK companies have used various alternative finance options to raise funding.
