The National Bank of Georgia has met with one of the largest financial supervisors in Europe to discuss cryptocurrency regulation and how to increase awareness of crypto in the country. The country is ranked second in the world in the number of known crypto mining facilities, according to a report by the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance. The report gathered data from more than 100 cryptocurrency companies in 38 countries around the world via secure web-based questionnaires, capturing an estimated 75 per cent of the market.
