Teach First: Nationwide winners announced

Education charity Teach First has announced the winners for their Innovation Awards that provide professional and financial support to promising social enterprises in education. The winning ventures will get £15,000 of funding and will be enrolled in a 12 months programme that will include training, mentoring and expert advice. Career Accelerator, a startup that is currently on the Cambridge Social Ventures programme run by the Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation, was among the winners. The startup founded my Mayur Gupta helps talented 13-17 year old state school students from diverse backgrounds prepare for careers in the digital sector.
