David De Cremer, KPMG Professor of Management Studies at Cambridge Judge Business School, says it was predictable that a big tech company like Facebook became involved in a major privacy controversy. He says many entrepreneurs working in this area often have a “blind spot” because their “obsession with creating something unique” makes them “see the value of their undertakings in creating innovation itself, but not at all in its potential consequences.”
