Savers looking to boost their investment returns are choosing a new type of Isa. The Innovative Finance Isa was created in 2016 to address peer-to-peer investments. Research led by the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance at Cambridge Judge Business School shows that peer-to-peer loans have become increasingly popular, and estimates that “about £10.6 billion has been advanced through alternative finance transactions since 2011.” (subscription)
