The Wall Street Journal: Economic confidence is really high. Perhaps it’s time to sell.

The American economy is growing stronger, but investors should be careful as it is difficult to predict how the economy will perform in the future, writes James Mackintosh. According to a report co-authored by Professor Elroy Dimson, Chairman of the Centre for Endowment Asset Management (CEAM) at Cambridge Judge, there is “no link between the latest report on the economy and future returns, but a strong link between the – unknown – future state of the economy and future returns.” (subs)
