The Wall Street Journal: The market isn’t going to save you from saving too little

 

A report co-authored by Professor Elroy Dimson, Chairman of the Newton Centre for Endowment Asset Management at Cambridge Judge, is cited in the WSJ article about investment returns. According to the report, “since 1900, US stocks have returned 6.5 per cent a year after inflation, including dividends.” (subscription)
