UK Tech News: Cambridge-based agritech startup nabs £1.75 million

 

Cambridge-based agricultural technology venture KisanHub has raised £1.75 million funding. The startup is developing technology that will provide farmers with data in order to make right decisions to grow more and use less. CEO Dr Sachin Shende said: “With the new investment, we will kick-start the hardware deployment in the UK, attract new talent into sales and customer success functions, and expand our engineering capabilities to deliver end-to-end supply chain solutions.” KisanHub was mentored by Accelerate Cambridge, part of the Entrepreneurship Centre at Cambridge Judge, and Cambridge Social Ventures.
