Businesses should start thinking about crowdfunding this year, suggests Barney Cotton in Business Leader, and the United Kingdom is probably one of the best places for this. According to a report by the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance, the UK “is leading the way when it comes to crowdfunding and peer-to-peer lending.” The report says the UK remains the largest alternative finance market in Europe at €5.6 billion (£4.9 billion), but the European market is growing steadily as well.
