The fifth annual Wo+Men’s Leadership Centre conference at Cambridge Judge Business School saw 150 people attending talks and workshops. The theme of the conference was “Building Balance” and focused on gender diversity and better work-life balance. Keynote speakers Cath Kidston, Founder of Cath Kidston UK, and Laurel Powers-Freeling, Chairman of Uber UK, shared their tips on how to get ahead with career. Professor Sucheta Nadkarni, Director of the Wo+Men’s Leadership Centre, said: “This is the fifth year we’ve run the conference, and the third year it’s been oversubscribed, which demonstrates how important the topic of gender balance in the workplace is.” (scroll down to read about the event)
