Jennifer Jia, a PhD Student from the University of Cambridge, Department of Clinical Neuroscience, has been awarded £2,000 from the SJL Foundation. Jennifer aims to mass-produce a 1p sanitary towel to reach all 43 million women in India who can’t afford sanitary products. She is currently participating in the EnterpriseTECH STAR programme at the Cambridge Judge Entrepreneurship Centre.
