A report co-authored by Dr David Reiner, University Senior Lecturer in Technology Policy at Cambridge Judge, has “busted the myth of the electric car as the panacea to personal transportation’s problematic climate profile”, according to an article in Energy Watch. The report says sustainable fuels have special potential to decarbonise road transport in long-range vehicles owing to the limitations of electric vehicles in this area.
