Edel Browne, Founder of Free Feet Medical, is on the Forbes “30 under 30 in Science and Healthcare” Europe list. When she was 15 years old Edel invented a medical device to treat gait freezing, which is one of the common symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, and has spent the last few years developing the product. In 2016 Edel was on the Ignite programme run by the Entrepreneurship Centre at Cambridge Judge Business School.
