FT Adviser: DFMs’ immaturity problem, the 119-year-old index secret, and an unwelcome surprise

 

When it comes to track records, it’s easy to forget that emerging markets as an asset class are still relatively new themselves, according to the Credit Suisse Global Investment Returns Yearbook 2019. Co-authored by Professor Elroy Dimson, Chairman of the Centre for Endowment Asset Management (CEAM) at Cambridge Judge, the report focused on emerging markets, especially China.
