The Telegraph: Ollie Phillips: ‘I was a rugby hero and record breaker, but I still suffered from imposter syndrome’

 

An interview with Ollie Phillips, former rugby player and alumnus of the Executive MBA programme at Cambridge Judge Business School (EMBA 2016). Ollie talks about the challenges he faced when switching careers from sports to business and why he decided to study in Cambridge. Speaking about his current job at PwC he said: “It turned out there were so many of those crossovers. A large part of my job now is just problem-solving. I love the social side and, with the people I meet, I listen to their problems, then ask where they are now, where they want to get to, what’s in their way, and how I can help them get there – whether that’s introducing them to the right people or something more direct.”
