Business Weekly: Lonely Planet honours Footprint Cafes for transforming business travel

Footprints Café founded by Cambridge Judge alumna Georgina Hemmingway (PGDE 2014) won a Lonely Planet award for novel approach to business travel. Like Lonely Planet, Footprint is passionate about making tourism a force for good,” Georgina said. “We’re very grateful for Lonely Planet’s award, it’s an absolute honour. The world is changing and this is especially true in the world of travel. It’s important to highlight that there are different business models out there.”

The startup was previously on the Cambridge Social Ventures programme, run by the Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation at the Business School. Georgina is a past president and active participant in the Wo+Men’s Leadership Centre at Cambridge Judge.
