Financial Times: Schools adjust to a new way of working

 

Coronavirus pandemic brought new challenges to business schools worldwide. But Marwa Hammam, Executive Director of the Masters of Finance (MFin) programme at Cambridge Judge Business School, says there is still an appetite from companies for internships and jobs. “Our advice to students is to be flexible, and pivot into sectors where there is growth: corporate restructuring, distressed debt, regulation, research roles in risk management and compliance,” she says. “Careers are never a straight line.
