Kalamna startup that was previously on the Cambridge Social Ventures programme is featured in the article. Founder Saussan Khalil tells how the idea for Kalamna, that provides Arabic language classes to children and adults in Cambridge, came up: “You don’t have it around you. That’s where it’s such a problem for us outside of the Arabic speaking communities, that our kids are not exposed.” So she has set up a local Arabic group and now has around 60 students in the class.
