Phys.org: Poor people experience greater financial hardship in areas where income inequality is greatest

 

A study co-authored by Jaideep Prabhu, Professor of Marketing at University of Cambridge Judge Business School, explores how income inequality will deepen problems during the COVID-19 crisis. The study shows that “hardship increases for low-income individuals by reducing their ability to rely on their community as a buffer against financial and other related difficulties.”
