The Economist: Lessons from the endowment model

A study on America’s large endowment funds co-authored by Elroy Dimson, David Chambers and Charikleia Kaffe at Cambridge Judge Business School, featured in The Economist. The study examined the behaviour of US endowments in 12 major universities: “They have been pioneers in the allocation of riskier assets, especially in “alternatives” such as private equity. When others run away from risk, they have accepted it.” (subs)
