Cambridge News: Arabic school teaching refugee children their mother tongue through pandemic

Kalamna startup that was previously on the Cambridge Social Ventures programme run by the Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation is featured in the article. The venture provides Arabic language classes to children and adults in Cambridge. Founder Saussan Khalil said: “We’re trying to change the way Arabic is taught, away from traditional methods that focus on classical and religious language, with a focus on modern everyday spoken language.”
