Financial Times: Equities are the only sensible foundation for private pensions


A report on investment returns co-authored by Professor Elroy Dimson, Chairman of the Centre for Endowment Asset Management at Cambridge Judge Business School, quoted in the Financial Times article.

“The work of Elroy Dimson, Paul Marsh and Mike Staunton in successive Credit Suisse Global Investment Yearbooks shows that over the past 120 years diversified portfolios of equities in the corporate sectors of high-income market economies have done staggeringly well,” the article says. (subs)
