Poets & Quants: At Cambridge, three Deans tackle burning questions

 

Past, present and future Deans of Cambridge Judge Business School address business education and grand societal challenges at the Cambridge Union. The event on 2 July organised for the MBA cohort brought together Professor Dame Sandra Dawson, KPMG Professor Emeritus of Management Studies at Cambridge Judge and the Business School’s Dean from 1995 to 2006, Professor Christoph Loch, who steps down later this summer after 10 years as Dean, and Professor Mauro F. Guillén, whose term as the next Dean begins 1 September.

“The trio brought different perspectives to each pressing issue, but agreed on the principle that business education must convey an understanding of societal impact – that business can, and must, be a force for good in the world,” the Poets & Quants article said.
