The Telegraph: California’s heat dome poses unprecedented challenge for world’s fifth-biggest economy

 

Dr Kamiar Mohaddes, University Senior Lecturer in Economics & Policy at Cambridge Judge Business School, has spoken to The Telegraph about effects of climate change to advanced economies. He says economic growth is not only affected by higher temperatures, but also by the degree of climate variability. “California shows what we might become if we don’t grow much more resilient,” Kamiar says.
