A study on the long-term macroeconomic effects of climate change co-authored by Kamiar Mohaddes, Associate Professor in Economics & Policy at Cambridge Judge Business School, is covered in the Washington Post. Kamiar said that ‘scaling back the climate provisions in the reconciliation bill would be a “mistake.”’
“The fiscal risks of climate inaction vastly outweigh fiscal risks of climate action,” he commented.
