This article discusses the Universities measures to improve mental health and wellbeing during the exam period. The activities, including outdoor yoga, free spider plants, adult colouring books, birdhouse decorating, crotchet, origami and rock painting were said to have proved popular and there was “good evidence to suggest that activities promote relaxation and mindfulness”.
For example, Information & Library Services at Cambridge Judge Business School have “several “ergonomic items” to improve the study experience such as weighted blankets, wobble cushions and memory foam arm rests.” (subs)
