Join the conversation on transforming today’s challenges into tomorrow’s opportunities at BioBeat16 on Wednesday 16 November 2016.
BioBeat was founded in 2012 by Miranda Weston-Smith, an independent biotech consultant, to provide a collaborative innovation platform for biotech entrepreneurs and leaders. In particular, BioBeat honours women in biobusiness who are challenging norms, delivering success and bringing better health to people around the world. The CJBS Entrepreneurship Centre is a founding partner, and has supported BioBeat since its creation. The Innovation Forum is also a partner.
The 2016 lead partner of BioBeat is global biologics business MedImmune. BioBeat has also attracted sponsorship from AstraZeneca and Covington & Burling. The theme for this year’s BioBeat is Stretching Biotech Pharma Entrepreneurship and will explore how to transform today’s challenges into tomorrow’s opportunities.
Hosted at St Catharine’s College Cambridge, the event will include a panel discussion on drawing out innovation in times of flux through the perspectives of pharma, biotech product development, investment and patient involvement. There will also be an unrivalled opportunity to network with those at the heart of the biobusiness throughout the evening.
