Orientation

The compulsory Orientation Week activities, which takes place in late September, are an opportunity for you to get to know your peers on the MPhil in Technology Policy programme.

An integral part of the Orientation is the Microeconomics pre-course. This module is designed to familiarise you with some basic concepts, tools and models relevant to management, business and technology policy. Topics covered include basic price theory, the firm, market structure, game theory, transactions costs, and market failures emanating from market power and externalities.

During the Orientation and through the year, we offer opportunities to interact with government departments, regulatory agencies and leading technology companies.

I greatly value the collaboration between this Office of Parliament and the Cambridge Technology Policy Programme.
