"After gaining masters' degrees in Engineering from École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers and in Technology and Mechanics at Université de Bordeaux 1, I joined Sne Deshors Moulage in France. I chose a small rather than a large company, because I felt I could make a greater impact in the workplace.

"After a few months, I started managing a small production team of 15 people and by 2005 I had progressed to managing the whole company of 15 managers and 80 employees. This position enabled me to improve my leadership and management skills.

"After the AD Industrie Group takeover, I was offered and accepted the position of Operations Manager, reporting directly to the Group’s President and becoming involved in business development.

"Since 2005, I have been responsible for managing and implementing the strategic business plan for the whole company. This has allowed me to develop my skills, not only in management and leadership, but also in business development in an international and multicultural environment.
"I decided to study an EMBA, because although I had achieved a senior position within the tyre mould business, I felt my experience was too niche and I needed to expose myself to other industries and to gain a wider perspective to further develop my career and focus on my main interests, international and industrial business development.

"I chose the Cambridge Executive MBA because of the world-class reputation of Cambridge Judge Business School. I feel the programme will provide me with a comprehensive understanding of global business, along with the ability to manage all business challenges from mergers and acquisitions to organic growth, market consolidation strategy and international development. The very diverse background of the other participants is also a unique opportunity to build an international network.

"After the EMBA, I would like to achieve a position such as of Head of Strategy and Business Development or even CEO ideally in France, where I feel there are many challenges and opportunities for international development, but I would consider re-locating for the right opportunity."
