After carefully researching the European one-year MBA programmes, Cambridge seemed the most compelling because of the digital transformation specialisation, the programme's focus on consulting projects, and the location.

What led you to take the Cambridge MBA?

I decided to do an MBA to transition from risk management consulting into the technology industry. After carefully researching the European one-year MBA programmes, Cambridge seemed the most compelling because of the digital transformation specialisation, the programme's focus on consulting projects, and the location.

Describe the biggest accomplishment in your career so far

One of my most analytically demanding and successful projects involved documenting the exposure simulation of over-the-counter derivatives based on VBA and C# codes. I didn’t know much about programming and counterparty credit risk before the project but I rose to the challenge of extending my knowledge in this specific risk type and exposure simulation, and becoming familiar with the VBA and C# in a very short time.

How do you feel about being awarded your scholarships?

I am very honoured to be the recipient of Julia Palatovska Eastern European Bursary as well as a Cambridge Judge Business School Scholarship. Considering that I am a self-financing student, these awards take a serious financial burden off me and allow me to focus on my studies and extra-curricular activities during the MBA programme.

Something that not many people know about you

I often helped out in my parents’ small plant nursery during summer breaks, and so I have a diverse set of gardening skills.
